BIPOC EXCLUSIVE SLIDING SCALE
The sliding scale is exclusive to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)
This is to create a more inclusive, accessible space for BIPOC folks who are continuously left out of spiritual business + spiritual coaching sphere. Spaces that tend to exclude BIPOC, while simultaneously co-opting and appropriating sacred practices + spirituality from their cultures.
This scale is also exclusive to BIPOC as a way to acknowledge the massive wealth disparity between white and non-white households in the United States.
This sliding scale model is one small way to take into account the layered opportunities and oppressions folks may encounter. This is also geared toward economic justice on a personal and local level.
Please review the guidelines below. This scale is intended to be a starting point, inviting you to take inventory of your financial resources as well as levels of privilege beyond income. Take these factors into consideration, but please don’t stress! Pay what feels right and aligned to you. We will not follow up or ask questions about your payment choices.
We acknowledge that even with this sliding scale model, that this program may still be inaccessible to some. Please understand that we are offering a model that we feel is sustainable for our small business. If the lowest end of the scale is still not feasible for you and is unsafe, then fill out this scholarship request form here. We are able to offer one scholarship for every 3 signups to the program.
(Privilege based scale model adapted from Accountability Mapping & Black Borders)
